Lost for words? Read newspapers and stories and this will help develop your vocabulary and give you content which you can use to have a more fluent discussion.
Every month I will put some story links for you to read. Get into the habit of reading them. Below the story links are some news links you can use to find your own stories.

You can download a dictionary from http://www.wordweb.co.uk/ which links with Word and works offline. I use this one a lot.

The Times I check The Times everyday. This is a broadsheet and read by the middle class.
Independent A serious national UK daily broadsheet read by the middle class.
The Sun A tabloid paper read mainly by the working class in the UK.
Helsingin Sanomat Read what's happening in Finland in English. This can prepare you for small talk situations in business.
CNN Interactive A very rich news and resources site updated quite regularly. You can even ask it to find customised news. Click on "custom news" in the left frame about 16 links down from the top, just under IN-DEPTH.
BBC Online One of my favourite sites. Lots of updated news, language learning and BBC radio to listen to. Do you need to learn the basics about the Internet? Then go here.
USA Today A national USA tabloid
The Oldie A new online paper for the over 50s - "the oldies". This paper help oldies to understand the superhighway. Oldies are also called 'silver surfers'. Where's my hair colour?
